Community-Based Research (CbURA) (2008)
The CBR program involves faculty and students working collaboratively with community partners to research issues of common concern. 

Entrepreneurial Research Assistantship (EnURA) (2007)
Working with a small business owner, students will help resolve “problems” by doing research (financial, marketing, business plan). 

Interdisciplinary Research Assistantship (IdURA) (2010)
Faculty and students work across disciplinary lines to create and disseminate knowledge in new areas of scholarship and research. 

Undergraduate Research Assistantships (URA)
The URA s offers highly motivated students the opportunity to work closely with a faculty member on his/her research, scholarship, or creative activity.   

Undergraduate Research Assistantships (URA) Travel Fund
Funding amounts may vary.
URA Travel Fund provides OUR supported UNCG students with support to present  the results of their work at professional conferences in their field.

Undergraduate Research Expo (2007)
OUR awards a total of $4,000 for the most outstanding undergraduate research/creative scholarship work during Excellence Day ceremonies. One project, in each of the following divisions will be awarded $1,000: humanities; behavioral, economic, educational, and social sciences; life, mathematical, and physical sciences; performing and/or visual arts.

NSF funded Math/Biology Fellowships (2008)
$4,500 per calendar year
The goal of this program is to generate new knowledge at the interface of mathematics and biology and to provide an integrated bio-mathematical research opportunity for undergraduate students at UNCG.

NSF funded REU Interdisciplinary Quantitative Science (2008)
$3,500 for an 8 week summer period
Students work closely with faculty mentors and other undergraduate research students on research projects in mathematics, physics, chemistry or biology.
