Undergraduate Research Assistantship

Are you looking for an experiential learning opportunity that will improve your communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills?
Dr. Nadja Cech is looking for three science majors to carry out chemical research on plants that have medicinal properties.
She is looking individuals who are self-starters, who can work independently and who are interested contributing to this exciting field of chemistry.
During Summer 2008 you'll be expected to work full time* on this research project here at UNCG and at the Research Triangle Institue
(in Research Triangle Park, Raleigh, NC). (*Full time means 40 hours a week between June 1 and August 15th, 2008). Ideally students should be able to provide their own transportation between Greensboro and the Research Triangle.
You will be paid $3000 for your work in the summer and there may be an opportunity for you to continue your work during the 2008/09 academic year
