The Great Conversation Continues with
Chris Metivier

Whatever your view of death, we can all agree that one thing is certain: we will all die. And given that we are sure to die, we are inclined to ask the question of whether it will be bad for us. In this conversation, we will discuss arguments as to why death is probably neither good nor bad, and why even if it is bad, we shouldn't fear it.

Chris is one of our Philosophy Dept faculty and teaches Contemporary Moral Problems, Ethical Issues in Business and a topics in philosophy class on Death and Dying. Please join us for a very interesting discussion.....

September 17th, Faculty Center, 5:00 pm

The Great Conversation is sponsored by the Philosophy Dept and Phi Sigma Tau and offers an opportunity for students and faculty
of all disciplines to join us in philosophical inquiry.
