North Carolina's Three College Observatory
Planetary Nebula NGC 7662
NGC 7662 --- This unfiltered image was taken on October 12,
1996 using UNCG's ccd camera at the Three College Observatory. The image
is actually three separate images taken using 3 different color filters
and combined by UNCG student Chris Deloye into a single 3-color image.
The V, R, and I images were each 120 seconds long. Note the
faint inner ring of the planetary nebula.
The Three College Observatory is located south of Burlington,
NC.
