Actware 1000 is our Computer Maintenance Management Software that allows you to enter work orders online. You must have a user name and password in order to access the system. It is primarily for people on campus that we, at Facilities Operations, consider building contacts. We consider them building contacts because they submit work orders on a regular basis or we have asked them to contact other people in their building for scheduled shut downs or repairs that may affect the building. For those of you using the system, below you will find directions for entering work orders and checking the status of work orders. If you are not a user and wish to be added please contact Gail Peeples at 334-3456 or dgpeeple@uncg.edu.

Pest Control
Elevator Calls

Billable Work (Requires a BanFin-59 Form)
Estimates (Requires a Form-59)

 

 

NOTE: Please enter a different work order for several different jobs needed. These might require different trades.

Actware 1000 Online

How To Submit Work Orders Online

  1. At the Actware Home Page, Click on RequestLINE
  2. Click on Work Requests
  3. Type in User Name and Password
  4. Pick Location From the Drop Down Menu
  5. Put In Contact Information (Name and Phone Number)
  6. Put In Description of Work; Make Sure to Include the Following: Room Number, Detailed Description of Problem, and If the Room Can Only Be Accessed at Certain Times
  7. Click Save
  8. When You Save the Information You Will Be Able to View the Work Order Number for Your Records

How To Review Status Of Work Order

  1. At The Actware Home Page, Click on RequestLINE
  2. Click on Work Reports
  3. Put In Any Information You Know (If you know a key word in the description (ex: lights) enter it and you will receive a report that shows all work orders with lights. Enter as much information on screen as you know to narrow search.)
  4. Click on Show
  5. This Will Tell You the Status of A Work Order

Status:

  • Submitted – You Turned In But Hasn’t Been Processed
  • Approved or Incomplete - Work Order Has Been Sent To Trades
  • Completed or Closed - Work is Finished
  • Void - Work Information Cancelled Work Order; Will Contact You With Reason
