Residence-and-Tuition Application Supplement for North Carolina Public School Teachers

North Carolina residents who have not fulfilled the 12-month domiciliary requirement to qualify for the in-state tuition rate, but are full-time North Carolina public school teachers, may be eligible for an out-of-state tuition waiver. If you wish to file a " Residence-and-Tuition Application Supplement for North Carolina Public School Teachers," you can obtain an application form from the Office of the Provost, Mossman 201, or by calling the Office at 336-334-5494. You may also download the form(s) using either the Adobe Acrobat version or the Microsoft Word 97/2000 version.

To apply for the in-state rate as a North Carolina public school teacher, you must also submit a Residence and Tuition Status Application to verify that you are a North Carolina resident. Once you have completed the application and supplement, with the appropriate signatures and required attachments, please return it to the Office of the Provost. If you have not read the description of residency policies, you may want to do this before completing and submitting the form. Application for this benefit must be made prior to the first day of classes for of each academic term for which the benefit is sought.
