North Carolina residents who have not fulfilled the 12-month domiciliary requirement to qualify for the in-state tuition rate, but are full-time North Carolina public school teachers, may be eligible for an out-of-state tuition waiver. If you wish to file a " Residence-and-Tuition Application Supplement for North Carolina Public School Teachers," you can obtain an application form from the Office of the Provost, Mossman 201, or by calling the Office at 336-334-5494. You may also download the form(s) using either the Adobe Acrobat version or the Microsoft Word 97/2000 version.
To apply for the in-state rate as a North Carolina public school teacher, you must also submit a Residence and Tuition Status Application to verify that you are a North Carolina resident. Once you have completed the application and supplement, with the appropriate signatures and required attachments, please return it to the Office of the Provost.
