Spring 2012 Registration Calendar


Advising for Spring 2012 Continuing students by appointment	Monday, October 17–Monday, November 21, 2011 Continuing UNCG students must make appointments with advisors or advising centers at this time based on information received in the registration e-mail message.
Early Registration	Tuesday, November 1–Monday, November 21, 2011 Open to all currently enrolled continuing UNCG students by access windows
Drop/Add Schedule Adjustment	Thursday, December 1, 2011–Friday, January 13, 2012 Open to all continuing students who have registered for spring 2012.
Advising for Spring 2012 *New students by appointment*	Thursday, December 1, 2011–Friday, January 13, 2012 (specific dates and times vary by department/school) New students must make appointments with advisors or advising centers at this time based on information received in the registration e-mail message.
Registration by appointment	Thursday, December 1, 2011–Friday, January 13, 2012 Registration for new graduate, visiting, undergraduate transfer, readmitted, reactivated, Visions, and inter-institutional students. Schedule adjustment for continuing students.
Late Fee Charge	Thursday, December 1, 2011 Starting date for assessing late registration fees to all continuing students who did not preregister during the November early registration period. Fee will be applied to account after student registers.
Payment Deadline: Students Registering November 1–21	Thursday, December 15, 2011 Bills will be sent electronically to students who register between November 1 and 21; the deadline for payment is December 15. Those not paying by this deadline will be canceled from classes, but may reregister and pay through Friday, January 13, 2012; a late fee will be imposed.
Payment Deadline: Students Registering December 1, 2011–January 13, 2012	Friday, January 13, 2012 Bills will be sent electronically to those who register between December 1 and 19. No bills will be sent to students who register after December 19. Those not paying by the January 13 deadline will be canceled from classes.
Consortium	Friday, January 6–Friday, January 13, 2012 Registration open for Consortium students.
Audits	Monday, January 9–Friday, January 13, 2012 Open to all eligible students wishing to audit classes; requires instructor’s written approval on an official Drop/Add form
Late Registration	Monday, January 9–Friday, January 13, 2012 Open to all students. Friday, January 13, is the last day to register for spring 2012 classes.
Last Day to Register or Change Classes	Friday, January 13, 2012 Last day to register, add, or change classes
Final Payment Deadline for Spring 2012	Friday, January 13, 2012 All registered students must pay spring tuition and fees by January 13. Those not doing so will be canceled from their classes. Bills will not be sent to students who register after December 19.
Drop/Add Deadlines for Spring 2012
Friday, January 13	Last day to add or change classes for 15-week Part of Term. See Parts of Term calendar for all registration deadlines.
Friday, March 2	Last day to drop without academic penalty (drop with W, not WF)
Refund Deadline for Reduction of Credit Hours
Friday, January 13, 2012	Last day to drop a course/courses for tuition and fees refund for 15-week Part of Term (does not apply to complete withdrawal from the University). See Parts of Term calendar for all registration deadlines.
