Spring 2013 Registration Calendar


Advising for Spring 2013 Continuing students by appointment	Wednesday, October 17–Monday, November 19, 2012 Continuing UNCG students must make appointments with advisors or advising centers at this time based on information received in the registration e-mail message.
Early Registration	Monday, October 29–Monday, November 19, 2012 Open to all currently enrolled continuing UNCG students by access windows
Drop/Add Schedule Adjustment	Monday, December 3, 2012–Friday, January 18, 2013 Open to all continuing students who have registered for Spring 2013.
Advising for Spring 2013 *New undergraduate students by appointment*	Monday, December 3, 2012–Friday, January 4, 2013 (specific dates and times vary by department/school) New undergraduate students must make appointments with advisors or advising centers at this time based on information received in the registration e-mail message.
Registration New students	Monday, December 3, 2012–Friday, January 18, 2013 Registration for new graduate, visiting, undergraduate transfer, readmitted, reactivated, Visions, and inter-institutional students. Schedule adjustment for continuing students.
Late Fee Charge	Monday, December 3, 2012 Starting date for assessing late registration fees to all continuing students who did not preregister during the November early registration period. Fee will be applied to account after student registers.
Payment Deadline: Students Registering October 29–November 19	Friday, December 14, 2012 Bills will be sent electronically to students who register between October 29 and November 19; the deadline for payment is December 14. Those not paying by this deadline will be canceled from classes, but may reregister and pay through Friday, January 18, 2013; a late fee will be imposed.
Payment Deadline: Students Registering December 3, 2012–January 18, 2013	Friday, January 18, 2013 Bills will be sent electronically to those who register between December 3 and 18. No bills will be sent to students who register after December 18. Those not paying by the January 18 deadline will be canceled from classes.
Consortium	Friday, January 11–Friday, January 18, 2013 Registration open for Consortium students.
Audits	Monday, January 14–Friday, January 18, 2013 Open to all eligible students wishing to audit classes; requires instructor’s written approval on an official Drop/Add form
Late Registration	Monday, January 14–Friday, January 18, 2013 Open to all students. Friday, January 18, is the last day to register for Spring 2013 classes.
Last Day to Register or Change Classes	Friday, January 18, 2013 Last day to register, add, or change classes
Final Payment Deadline for Spring 2013	Friday, January 18, 2013 All registered students must pay spring tuition and fees by January 18. Those not doing so will be canceled from their classes. Bills will not be sent to students who register after December 18.
Drop/Add Deadlines for Spring 2013
Friday, January 18, 2013	Last day to add or change classes for 15-week Part of Term. See Parts of Term calendar for all registration deadlines.
Friday, March 8, 2013	Last day to drop without academic penalty (drop with W, not WF)
Refund Deadline for Reduction of Credit Hours
Friday, January 18, 2013	Last day to drop a course/courses for tuition and fees refund for 15-week Part of Term (does not apply to complete withdrawal from the University). See Parts of Term calendar for all registration deadlines.
