Honors in Art
Return to 2002-2003 UGB Art Menu

Requirements
Six semester hours to consist of the following:

• 3 hours of HSS 490 Honors Thesis
• 3 hours of any ART Honors course above the 100 level

Twelve semester hours to consist of the following:

• Any 500-level ART course
• Any contract Honors course
• ART 493 (Independent Study)
• Any Honors courses, whether in Art or not

Qualifications

• A grade of A or B in all course work used to satisfy the Honors requirements in Art
• A declared Art Major
• At least a 3.3 overall GPA at graduation

Recognition
The designation "Completed Departmental Honors in Art" and the title of the Senior Honors Project will be printed on the student's official transcript.
