Art
History/Museum Studies Concentration
Minimum 36 semester hours in art
1. ART 100* or 101*, 201 or 202, 203, 204
2. 6-7 hours of studio art, including one of the following: ART
120, 140 or 150, and one 200-level studio course
3. At least 12 hours of 300-level art history coursework selected
from: ART 300, 301, 302, 303, 304, 305, 306, 307, 308, 309, 310,
311, 312, 313, 314, 400, 493, 500, 501
4. ART 590 to be taken in the Spring of the junior year
5. At least one of the following: ART 393, 400, or 401
Students enrolled in ART 400 should be encouraged to consider
presenting a paper at the Mint Museum Undergraduate Art History
Symposium.
