Required: minimum of 24 semester hours
Because of its
holistic approach to human behavior, anthropology connects with
many other disciplines both academically and professionally. Completion
of anthropology as a second major is a good choice for students
in interdepartmental programs in archaeology, linguistics, international
studies, social studies, as well as programs in nutrition, history,
classical studies, religious studies, geography, environmental studies,
biology, women's studies, public health and African American studies.
Students who double major in anthropology and another discipline
must complete all major requirements in both areas as well as the
general requirements for the degree which they are seeking.
