Level
A student who is currently working toward a degree at another
institution but who wishes to take courses at UNCG during the regular
term is classified as a "visiting" student. Students attending
any of the constituent campuses of the Greater Greensboro Consortium
are not visiting students.
To be considered for admission as a visiting student, an applicant
must:
Visiting
students must have a cumulative 2.0 GPA or better on a 4.0 scale on
all previous work attempted. They must be in good standing and eligible
to return to their last attended institution.
Written permission from the dean of the home institution must be provided
if a student wishes to continue enrollment beyond one semester.
High School Level
High school seniors with superior academic credentials may
want to supplement their high school curriculum. Admission as a visiting
student does not imply regular admission to UNCG.
