Completion
of a second major in economics is a good choice for students in other
social sciences, mathematics, and other professional areas. The double
major can usually be fitted into a normal four-year liberal arts course
of study. In highly structured professional programs, additional hours
beyond the minimum required for graduation are necessary. Students
who double major in economics and another field must complete all
major requirements in both areas as well as the general requirements
for the degree which they are seeking.
