The Department is committed to offering an academically challenging program of undergraduate education coupled with a solid foundation of a liberal arts education. The program has been accredited by the NRPA/AALR Council on Accreditation since 1981. The Hospitality and Tourism Management major prepares students for a variety of management positions in the hotel, restaurant, and travel and tourism fields. Students first complete a set of courses that gives them a broad foundation in all areas of hospitality and tourism management. Students select one of two concentrations: hotel and restaurant management or travel and tourism management. All students complete a business minor. |
