International and Global Studies Courses (IGS) GE Core denotes General Education Core credit; For Undergraduates 233A, 233B Introduction to International and Global Studies (3:3) GE Marker: IGS 233A meets GN; IGS 233B meets GL Required for majors and minors. An interdisciplinary course designed to introduce students to substantive concerns of International and Global Studies and the methods of investigation employed in it. 333 Selected Topics: International and Global Studies (3:3) May be repeated for credit as topic changes. An advanced-level course concentrating on specific topics of international and/or global concern. The content of this course may grow out of materials explored initially in IGS 233. 400 Seminar in International and Global Studies (3:3) Pr. IGS 233A or B Required for majors and minors. Majors and second majors should have completed at least 12 s.h. of IGS-qualified additional courses; minors should have completed their 6 s.h. of required additional courses. Exceptions must be approved by the Director of IGS. An advanced interdisciplinary seminar dealing with contemporary problems in international and global affairs. |
