University Dining Services UNCG Dining Services offers students dining options with an emphasis on quality and variety. The Caf, an all-you-care-to-eat location found in the upper level of the Main Dining Hall, features traditional, home-style meals; vegetarian and organic entrées at Nature’s Healthy Corner including an all-organic salad bar; fresh cooked pastas; hand-tossed pizza; and a grill with burgers, fries, and more. The Caf also offers fruit smoothies, soups, a deli, desserts, and soft-serve yogurt. Spencer’s, a retail restaurant in the upper level of the Main Dining Hall, offers full service lunch including a salad bar with over 40 items; made-to-order pizza and pasta; home-style entrées at HomeZone; gourmet burgers at GrilleWorks™; tacos and burritos at Tortilla Express; and specialty desserts. The Atrium, located in the lower level of the Main Dining Hall, features the newly renovated C-Store; the Spartan Grille with late-night burgers and appetizers; and Java City™ with breakfast items and coffee. The Elliott University Center Food Court, located across from the UNCG Bookstore, features Spring Garden Fresh with made-to-order wraps and homemade hummus; Quiznos Sub; Chick-fil-A® Express; Pizza Hut Express; Burger King™ Express; grab-and-go sushi, sandwiches, and wraps; and desserts. The Marketplace, the campus grocery store, offers fresh produce; a special section with organic, vegetarian and vegan items; convenience items; ICEE; and grab-and-go sushi, sandwiches, and wraps. Charlie’s, located adjacent to the UNCG Bookstore, is a great place for students to study or meet friends. It features Java City™ coffee; grab-and-go salads and sandwiches; and specialty desserts. The Bryan Food Court, located in the Bryan School of Business and Economics, offers specialty sandwiches at My Deli@Bryan; freshly made Sushi with Gusto; grab-and-go salads, sandwiches, and wraps; soups; and also we proudly brew Starbucks Coffee®. The Pit Stop, located in the McIver Parking Deck, offers grab-and-go sandwiches, salads, and wraps; Pizza Hut; Java City™ Coffee, and more. 1540 Spring Garden Street C-Store, located in the Spring Garden Apartments, is open to everyone and offers a wide variety of grab-and-go sandwiches, wraps, and salads; grocery items; cooking and baking supplies; ICEE; and more. Meal Plans All students who live in the University residence halls are required to purchase a meal plan. Please visit http://uncg.CampusDish.com for the latest information on residential meal plans. Commuter students also have the option of purchasing meal plans to suit their needs. More information on commuter meal plans and how to sign up can be found at http://uncg.CampusDish.com. All meal plans include declining balance, which can be used in all Dining Services locations on campus and is exempt from sales tax. Unused declining balance can be transfered from the fall to the spring semester. At the end of the spring semester, any remaining unused declining balance is nonrefundable and cannot be transferred to the next academic year. Select your meal plan according to your expected spending habits. Additional funds can also be stored on your UNCG FirstCard Plus in the form of E-Cash. E-Cash can be placed on your UNCG FirstCard Plus at the UNCG FirstCard Center in Elliott University Center, room 121, or at Cash to Chip machines around campus. No dining plan refunds are made except in the case of official withdrawal from the university (official withdrawals are detailed in Residence Life housing contracts).
