Mission Statement
On September 18, 2000, the permanent help desk in the center of the commons area in Mossman was dedicated and became operational. Called "Information Station," the area is staffed during regular office hours by members of the Information Services team in the University Registrar's Office.
In addition to their regular duties in the University Registrar's Office, these staff members have been trained as generalists, and are able to answer a variety of basic questions asked by students and other constituents of the University. They greet guests who enter the building and provide directions as needed, and provide a front door welcome to students and their families who arrive for campus tours.
As an addition to the many student centered efforts of the University, the staff of Information Station provides prompt, efficient and warm service to those visiting the Mossman Building and the University.
