FERPA Guidelines on Release of Grades and GPA Information
Subject to certain exceptions in FERPA, all University faculty and staff who receive non-directory information about students (including course grades, letters of recommendation, and GPAs) are responsible for protecting the confidentiality of the information, and are not permitted to disclose the information to the public or any person or organization outside the University without the prior written consent of the students involved.
