Transcripts

The University Registrar's Office (URO) provides transcripts of a student's official UNCG academic record, both undergraduate and/or graduate, upon request. If the academic record has a hold placed on it for failure to meet financial obligations or for any other reason, transcript requests cannot be processed.

Options for Obtaining an Official UNCG Academic Transcript

1. Online Request

Transcripts can be ordered online 24/7 through Avow Systems at a cost of $7.75 per transcript ($5.00 transcript fee plus $2.75 Avow Systems fee). You may place as many orders as you like in one session using any major credit card. Your card will be charged only after your order has been completed. Order updates will be e-mailed to you or you may track your order online using your e-mail address and order number.

2. In-Person Request

A valid picture ID is required for pickup transcripts and can be issued only to the student requesting the transcript or to a third party who has written authorization from the student and a valid picture ID. The fee of $5.00 per transcript is payable in cash, by U.S. money order, or by check drawn on a U.S. bank made payable to UNCG. In-person transcript services are available between the hours of 8 A.M. and 5 P.M., Monday–Friday, and are located in the University Registrar’s Office, Mossman Building.

3. Written Mail-in Request

Complete and print the Transcript Request Form (be sure to sign it in the appropriate place) and mail it with a check drawn on a U.S. bank or U.S. money order made payable to UNCG (fee: $5 per transcript) to:
