New Students
New students who have previously never received VA benefits
To receive VA benefits at UNCG, you must:
- Be admitted to the university
- Register for courses
- Admission information is located at the admissions homepage
- Apply to the Department of Veterans Affairs for education benefits
- Complete and submit the Veteran Services Enrollment form once registered
Transfer Students/ used your benefits before at another institution:
To receive VA benefits at UNCG, you must:
- Be admitted to the university
- Register for courses
- Admissions information is located at the admissions homepage
- Complete VA form 22-1995 (military and reservists) or 22-5495 (dependents) and email to ddcurtis@uncg.edu
- Complete and submit the online Veteran Services Enrollment form once registered
Once these forms are completed they must be emailed, mailed, or faxed to the UNCG Veteran Services office.
