Piney Lake is a
recreational and meeting facility located in Pleasant Garden, NC maintained
by the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG). The facility
is open to all students, faculty and staff of UNCG and is available by
reservation for special occasions or overnight stays.

Directions:
1. From UNCG, take
Spring Garden Street to Tate Street. Turn right on Tate Street
(away from Kinko's Copies)
2. Follow Tate Street
to the light at East Lee Street. Turn left on East Lee Street.
3. Follow East Lee
Street for .7 miles to the light at Eugene Street. Turn right on Eugene.
4. Follow Eugene
Street (Eugene Street becomes "South Elm-Eugene Street" along the way)
for 3.5 miles (across I-40) to the light at Vandalia Road. Turn
left on Vandalia.
5. Follow Vandalia
Street 1 mile to where it ends at Pleasant Garden Road. Turn right
on Pleasant Garden Road.
6. Follow Pleasant
Garden Road 1.1 miles (past Olympic Industries, past Curtis General Store)
to Blumenthal Road (Blumenthal only goes to the left. You'll see
a large white house in a small grove of trees on the left and railroad
tracks on the right). Turn left on Blumenthal.
7. Follow Blumenthal
1.1 miles to the entrance to Piney Lake on your left. (The entrance
to Piney Lake is marked by a mailbox, a street light, and a small sign.
It is on Blumenthal just past a sharp curve [marked with road signs] to
the left).
8. Follow the driveway
in to Piney Lake. When you see the actual lake on your right, turn
left to the parking lots. (Cabins and camping facilities are located
beyond the parking lots, to the right).
