It is the wise action of fools
that made that time upon a once--
it is itself the Grail
The fools themselves hail
from many corners hence.
It is the wise action of fools,
these drunken poets who know no rules,
who stumble across the cup, perchance.
Yet it is itself the Grail
they seek, but oh, cruel youth--
they come they know not from whence,
and as it is the wise action of fools,
they neither know their names. Schools
cannot teach this knowledge. Self-assurance
is itself the Grail.
In this quest they cannot fail
to finally find inner sense.
It is the wise action of fools;
it is itself the Grail.
