- Jeanine Lino Perez is from Minas Gerais, Brazil. She has a PhD in Comparative Literature from UNC-Chapel Hill (2006). Her research interests are Luso-Brazilian and Hispanic literature. Additionally, she has been working with second language acquisition since 1994 in Brazil and in the United States since 2001. At UNCG she offers courses in Portuguese language at the beginning and intermediate levels, Luso-Brazilian culture, and has created a new course on Luso-Brazilian literature.
