The Federal Appropriations Guide is a resource for Congress, the Administration, the University and the general public. This guide does not include every University program funded by the federal government. Please feel free to suggest additional federal programs for the Guide but do so with the understanding that we will be asked by the North Carolina Congressional Delegation to suggest a proportional cut to another program in the budget to make room for the new program.
This guide also includes examples of campus-based research and activities that are supported by federal funding. Please review the examples and notify the Office of Federal Relations of any additional research or activities that illustrate why federal funding is important and should be included in the Guide.
Please submit your suggested additions/changes to the Appropriations Guide by November 27, 2009 by e-mail (mike_tarrant@uncg.edu).
Questions about the development of the Federal Policy Priorities document, the Federal Appropriations Guide, or congressionally-directed projects should be directed to Mike Tarrant (336.501.2673).
Thank you for all that you do to support the University’s priorities on the federal level.
