Federal Agenda

Every year UNC General Administration in coordination with all 17 campuses of the UNC System develops the University’s Unified Federal Agenda.  The Unified Federal Agenda consists of two documents:  Federal Policy Priorities and the Federal Appropriations Guide.

Federal Policy Priorities

This document reflects the top federal authorization FY 2012 priorities for the University of North Carolina System. Addtionally, the Board of Governors of the University of North Carolina provides a statement that accompanies the Federal Policy Agenda and the Appropriations Guide as guidance for the President, his staff and for communication with the North Carolina Congressional Delegation.

UNC Appropriations Guide

Each fiscal year, which begins on October 1st and ends September 30 of the next calendar year, the UNC System produces the Federal Appropriations Guide. The Federal Appropriations Guide is a resource for Congress, the Executive Branch, the University and the general public. The guide includes examples of campus-based research and activities that are supported by federal funding. The FY12 Guide is now available.
