The Office of the Provost has overall responsibility for the
research programs of The University of North Carolina at Greensboro
(UNCG) through the Office of Research and Public/Private Sector
Partnerships.
Dr. Rosemary C. Wander, the Associate Provost for Research and
Public/Private Sector Partnerships (APR), directs the Office
of Research and Public/Private Sector Partnerships.
The APR is the University's chief research officer and is responsible
for the oversight and advancement of the research mission for
UNCG. As the APR, Dr. Wander is the principal advisor to the
Provost and the Chancellor on all matters that pertain to research.
Dr. Wander oversees the activities
associated with the University's mission related to research,
scholarship, and creative activity; advocates for the University's
research programs internally and externally; coordinates many
of the University's federal, state, and local relationships;
administers internal grant competitions; supervises regulatory
affairs and compliance issues; and publishes the University's
research journal, UNCG Research. |
