About the OSP
The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) is the University of North Carolina at Greensboro's research administration office. Its mission is to provide excellent administrative support to faculty and professional staff in their pursuit of funding for research and scholarly activity while ensuring compliance with federal, university and private sponsor regulations, terms and conditions.
Government regulations, funding sources and methods by which proposals are submitted are all undergoing rapid change. OSP operates in a dynamic environment and serves as the coordination point for all university grant proposals. OSP staff members help to identify funding sources, facilitate the administrative review and approval process, and review and negotiate contracts and agreements.
OSP Vision Statement
The Office of Sponsored Programs will be a key participant in furthering the research agenda of the University and will actively engage our internal and external partners to expand the scope and funding of sponsored projects.
OSP Mission Statement
The mission of the OSP is to facilitate the increase in levels of external grant funding to support the discovery of new knowledge, creative and entrepreneurial activities, and community engagement efforts of UNCG students, faculty and staff to the benefit of the Piedmont Triad, State, nation and international communities it serves.
