About the OSP
A unit of the UNCG Office of Research and Public/Private Sector Partnerships, the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) is the University of North Carolina at Greensboro's research administration office. The OSP welcomes the opportunity to assist you with the acquisition of funds from private and governmental organizations.
Providing "cradle to grave" assistance, we facilitate the acquisition and management of funding for research, creative, and scholarly activity through a variety of services. The OSP's mission is to provide excellent administrative support to faculty and professional staff in their pursuit of funding for research and scholarly activity while ensuring compliance with federal, university and private sponsor regulations, terms and conditions.
Government regulations, funding sources and methods by which proposals are submitted are all undergoing rapid change. The OSP operates in a dynamic environment and serves as the coordination point for all university grant proposals.The OSP staff members help to identify funding sources, facilitate the administrative review and approval process, and review and negotiate contracts and agreements.
