Speakers will address both the special ARRA competition due 9/24/2009 and changes to the standard AREA competition cycle with deadlines on the 25th of October, February and June.

Speakers:
Mike Humble, Ph.D., is a Scientific Program Administrator in the Cellular, Organs, and Systems Pathobiology Branch, Division of Extramural Research and Training (DERT) at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) in Research Triangle Park, NC.  Dr. Humble oversees the extramural Fellowship program, and the R15 grants program as well as the research portfolios in skin disease, immunotoxicology, and autoimmune disease.
 
Jerrold J Heindel, Ph.D. is a Scientific Program Administrator in  the Cellular, Organs, and Systems Pathobiology Branch, Division of Extramural Research and Training (DERT) at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) in Research Triangle Park, NC. Dr. Heindel oversees the SBIR program as well as the research portfolios in reproductive, developmental and endocrine diseases.
