The CAREER program offers NSF's most prestigious award for faculty members beginning their independent careers. The intent of the program is to provide stable support at a sufficient level and duration to enable awardees to develop careers as outstanding researchers and educators who effectively integrate teaching, learning and discovery. We will discuss the CAREER program with regard to PI and institutional eligibility, submission guidelines, proposal review, and the PECASE (Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers). Untenured, tenure-track assistant professors from all NSF-supported disciplines are encouraged to attend.
