RTH Student Club
The purpose of the RTH Student Club is to encourage participation in career programs offered by RTH, to promote professionalism among students, to provide opportunities for professional development, to create an awareness of RTH through public relations, and to provide and encourage members to professionally and successfully use and receive contacts in the RTH field.

The National Society of Minorities in Hospitality
UNCG's NSMH chapter was formed to build and maintain relationships between professors, students, and hospitality professionals in ways that encourage involvement in the organization, University, and community. NSMH is a national organization with chapters all across the United States.

The UNCG Graduate Recreation Organization (UGRO) was founded in January 2008 to serve the
graduate students in the Department of Recreation, Hospitality, and Tourism Management (RTH)
in the School of Health and Human Performance. The purpose of this organization is to give the
graduate students in the department an opportunity to collaborate and network in an academic and
social setting as well as to give volunteer and professional development opportunities to the
students in order to better help them to achieve career goals.
