Recruitment of Students through Alternative Routes to Teacher Training

Change your career opportunities and the lives of children with special needs through Project RE-START

What is Project RESTART?

Project RESTART is a teacher preparation program in Special Education:  General Curriculum with licensure in mild to moderate disabilities designed for nontraditional adult students interested in completing a 4-year B.S. degree.

The project is a collaborative effort between UNCG, community colleges, and area school districts that offers a unique opportunity to both current students and employed teaching assistants in the field of special education.

This website is provided as an overview of the project and provides updates on the progress of Project RESTART and its students. Specific info should be sought out from the project director.
