This non-profit organization was established to provide emotional support and access to in formation as a central resource for families with deaf or hard of hearing children, as well as for deaf parents who have hearing children. BEGINNINGS is also committed to providing technical assistance to professionals who work with these families to help the children achieve full participation in society.

National Cued Speech Association

The mission of this non-profit organization is to promote and support the effective use of Cued Speech for communication, language acquisition and literacy. They raise awareness of Cued Speech and its applications, provide educational services, assist local affiliate chapters, establish standards, and certify Cued Speech instructors and transliterators.
