The Orphan Chemical Program is a service of the UNCG Office of Safety.  This waste minimization program provides faculty members on campus with chemicals at no cost while keeping these chemicals from entering the environment as hazardous waste.

To donate chemicals to the program, please call Daniel Todd in the Office of Safety at 334-4357 for more information.

To acquire chemicals listed below please print out a copy of the Orphan Chemical Acquisition Form (PDF), fill out the form in its entirety, and send it to the Office of Safety by campus mail.  The chemical(s) and Material Safety Data Sheet(s) will be delivered to your location.  If you have any questions concerning this program, please call the Office of Safety at 334-4357.
