Bruce joined the Office of Safety team in April of 1993 and is currently the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Environmental Safety. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Technology/Safety Management from the University of Maryland and Master of Science Degree in Occupational Safety from East Carolina University. He is currently a Ph.D student in UNCG's Higher Education Administration program. As Assistant Vice Chancellor, he is responsible for new programs, budgets, personnel management, safety committees and the leadership of the university's safety team. He is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, an Associate of Risk Management by the American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters (AICPCU) and the Insurance Institute of America (IIA) (ARM),and a Graduate Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (Grad IOSH)(UK)
Hobbies include: Sprint triathlons, fly fishing, and backpacking.

Donna joined the Office of Safety on September 1, 2006, and is responsible for employee health and safety training. She has a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Currently working on her Masters of Science in Occupational Safety at East Carolina University, Donna plans to graduate in December 2010. While not working at UNCG, Donna spends her time whitewater solo canoeing on rivers in western NC, TN, GA, and PA, downhill skiing, organic gardening and training mules.

Daniel joined the UNCG Office of Safety in March 1998 as the Hazardous Waste and Chemical Safety Coordinator. He attended the University of West Alabama where he received his Bachelor's of Science degree in Environmental Science in 1996. The Hazardous Waste and Chemical Safety Coordinator position at UNCG, promotes campus safety by removing hazardous waste from the university community and ensuring that laboratories and laboratory personnel operate in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Jim joined the team at the Office of Safety in June, 2000, as the Fire and Safety Inspector. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education in 1990 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Jim is currently a Captain with the City of Greensboro Fire Department and is a member of the High Level / Confined Space Rescue Team. He also holds various state level certifications in the field of fire service such as Hazardous Materials Responder-Operations Plus level, Firefighter II, and Emergency Rescue Technician. The position of Fire and Safety Inspector allows Jim to utilize his training and experience in the field of fire safety to serve the students, faculty and staff at UNCG.

Tim joined the UNCG Office of Safety in December of 2003. He attended Ohio University where he received his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Industrial Hygiene in 1999. The Industrial Hygiene Manager position is responsible for indoor air quality, industrial hygiene monitoring, hearing conservation, and employee health.

Chad joined the Office of Safety in May, 2003 and is currently the Safety Manager. He attended East Carolina University where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology in 2000 as well as a Master of Science Degree in Occupational Safety in 2004.
