Alcohol & Other Drug Program Coordinator
Kim N. Sexton-Lewter is a health educator and community organizer. She joined UNCG in 2004 and presently serves as the Alcohol & Other Drug Prevention Program Coordinator In the Wellness Center. She began her professional career as a school teacher in Brooklyn, NY, and has worked with young people in a variety of capacities for almost 20 years. Kim has spent the past 10 years in the field of substance abuse and has developed and implemented prevention programs in schools, communities, residential programs and on the college campus. Ms. Sexton-Lewter earned a B.S. in English/Education from The State University of New York, College at Oneonta and holds Masters Degrees in Public Health and Conflict Resolution from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. As well, Kim is a Certified Substance Abuse Prevention Consultant through the North Carolina Substance Abuse Professional Practice Board and a Registered Health Educator with the North Carolina Board of Registry for Health Education.
