DATE August 31 - September 3, Daily
TIME 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
LOCATION Library Lawn

The Clothesline Project began in the Summer of 1990. A coalition of women’s groups decided to break the silence surround violence against women. Survivors of intimate violence, along with victim’s family and friends, participate by creating shirts, which are displayed along a clothesline. Each shirt represents the voice of one woman, and is displayed to raise awareness, to educate others, and to facilitate healing.
