Letter from Chancellor Brady

Dear Faculty, Staff and Students,
The UNCG H1N1 Vaccine Clinic will resume this week in the Alderman Lounge in EUC. The clinic will operate from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 18, and Thursday, November 19. We encourage all those faculty, staff and students who are at high risk of catching this H1N1 flu to get the vaccine.
These groups include:

  • pregnant women
  • caretakers of infants less than 6 months of age
  • health care workers
  • children and adults with health conditions such as asthma or diabetes
  • people under the age of 25.
UNCG does have both nasal spray and injectable vaccine doses available. We do not, however, have doses for children under the age of 2 years. Please contact your pediatrician regarding the availability of these doses. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the Student Health Services flu line at 256-H1N1 (or 256-4161).

Sincerely,
Chancellor Linda P. Brady
