Kala Annambhotla, Ph.D., HSP-P
Staff Psychologist

Kala Annambhotla, Ph.D., HSP-P, most recently joined the staff of The Counseling & Testing Center (CTC) in June, 2007, but she also worked for the CTC between 2002 and 2004. She has had additional experience working in college mental health at the University of Arizona, as well as multicultural counseling experience on a White Mountain Apache reservation. Kala earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at Northern Illinois University, after having worked as an electrical engineer. She enjoys being a generalist in her counseling work, but does have special interests in positive psychology and multicultural issues. The latter has been influenced by her bicultural background, having immigrated from India. Personal interests include travel, music, crafts, and relaxed outdoor hikes.
