Roy J. Hamilton, Ph.D., HSP-P, joined The Counseling & Testing Center at UNCG in August 2003, has over seven years of experience working in university counseling centers, and three years as a Clinical Psychologist in a hospital setting. He earned his M.A. in Counseling from the University of the District of Columbia, and his Ph.D. from the Counseling Psychology program at Indiana State University. A generalist who works with clinical and developmental issues, Roy also co-facilitates a group using Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and coordinates CTC’s training program. Roy enjoys giving talks about Iggy Pop, playing electric bass and scuba diving.
