Standardized Testing

The Counseling & Testing Center (CTC) at the Student Health Center administers standardized testing. For more information about specific standardized testing services services, contact CTC directly at 336.334.5874.

PLEASE NOTE: UNCG does not offer standby for any tests.

Learn about individual tests, including application and testing dates, below:

• Miller Analogies Test (MAT)
  Used by many graduate school programs for admission consideration purposes
• College Level Examination Program (CLEP)
  Demonstrate college-level achievement through a program of exams in undergraduate college courses.
• Graduate Record Examination (GRE)
  General and subject-based tests required for admissions consideration by many graduate school programs.
• Law School Admission Test (LSAT)
  Required for admission to all 201 law schools that are members of the Law School Admission Council (LSAC).
  Law School Data Assembly Service (LSDAS) provides a means of centralizing and standardizing undergraduate academic records to simplify the law school admission process.
• Professional Assessments for Beginning Teachers (PRAXIS)
  A set of rigorous and carefully validated assessments that provides accurate, reliable information for use by state education agencies in making licensing decisions.
• National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC)
