Debra McCahan, MSW, LCSW
Counseling & Testing Center Liason

Debra McCahan, MSW, LCSW, is a psychotherapist at The Counseling & Testing Center where she has been on staff since March 2007. She has over 25 years experience in the mental health field and coordinates the Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills training at CTC, a program which treats students suffering from frequent suicidal behaviors and self–injury. She has led DBT groups for the past 10 years. She earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from The University of Georgia in 1984 and completed her undergraduate degree at Winthrop College in South Carolina.
