Jason Robertson, Ed.S., MPH, CHES, CTCTS, RHEd

Jason has worked as a health educator in the college setting for the past eight years, five of those at UNCG Student Health Services. Jason received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science from Averett University in Danville, VA in 2000, a Master of Public Health degree in Public Health Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2002, and an Education Specialist degree in Higher Education Administration from Appalachian State University in 2008. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Health Science (DHSc) degree from Nova Southeastern University. Additionally, he is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) through the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, a Registered Health Educator (RHEd) with the North Carolina Board of Registry for Health Education, and a Certified Tobacco Cessation Treatment Specialist (CTCTS).
Jason is the co-chair of the Greater Triad Tobacco Prevention Consortium and the chair-elect of the LGBT Coalition for the American College Health Association. He also teaches and coordinates the peer education programs for the Student Health Center (HEA 202 & HEA 203) in addition to be an adjunct lecturer for the Department of Public Health Education at UNCG.
In his spare time he likes to relax and spend time with his partner and their three dogs.
