Eating Disorder Not Otherwise Specified (EDNOS):
- Eating disorders that do not meet the criteria for anorexia nervosa or bulimia nervosa.
- For example Engaging in bulimic behaviors less frequently than twice per week for three months.
- For example Engaging in anorexic behaviors but still has regular menstrual cycles.
- For example Repeatedly chewing and spitting-out, but not swallowing, large amounts of food.
- COMPULSIVE OVEREATING binge eating in the absence of regular compensating behaviors (self-induced vomiting, misuse of laxatives, etc.).
