GLBT Suicide Prevention Training Day - November 13, 2009
The cost is $15.00 UNCG Faculty/Staff and $10.00 for students. You may pay in advance (check to UNCG Wellness Center) or pay the day of training. You will be charged if you sign up put do not attend.
Please note that the morning session is full. Training will be held in Gove 0015.

Join Heather Carter in the afternoon and participate in a trainer the trainer session so you can take the knowledge and skills back to your place of work, your school, your community and pass on this essential information.
What to expect from this train the trainer workshop on suicide prevention with GLBTQ youth:
- Be able to lead a GLBTQ youth suicide training
- Describe 2 of the different steps when dealing with suicide: prevention & intervention
- Understand the different components of the workshop and why they are important
- Be familiar with addressing different learning styles
