Student Health Services is really three major student health centers combined under one roof: The Wellness Center, The Counseling & Testing Center, and the Medical Clinic. Student Health Services is concerned with the overall health, safety, and well-being of all UNCG students.

The Counseling & Testing Center

The Counseling & Testing Center provides a wide range of counseling and psychological services to currently enrolled UNCG students, including crisis intervention. We are committed to meeting the needs of people of diverse racial, ethnic and national backgrounds, gender, sexual/affectional orientations, mental and physical abilities, religious/spiritual beliefs, and socioeconomic backgrounds as well as other types of diversity.

The Wellness Center

The Wellness Center provides a variety of student needs, with the goal of promoting overall wellness among UNCG students. One of the most important programs provided by The Wellness Center is the peer education program. This program trains students to take leadership positions amongst their peers, helping to educate and build community.

UNCG Campus Police

UNCG Campus Police dedicate themselves to providing a safe campus for all students, faculty, and staff. Available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, the UNCG Campus Police are prepared to help in crisis situations whenever they occur. Please call 336-334-4444 for more information.

Dean of Students Office

The UNCG Dean of Students Office staff works to provide students with a supportive environment. When in distress, students may feel concerned about academic or other responsibilities and might be unsure how to access University resources. The Dean of Students Office can help students with their success at UNCG by assisting in a wide variety of ways. Families of students are also welcome to call the office if concerned about their student. The Dean of Students Office can be contacted at 336-334-5514.

UNCG Housing & Residence Life

The UNCG Housing & Residence Life staff works to ensure a supportive, inclusive community for UNCG students. The UNCG Housing & Residence Life staff not only provide assistance in stressful situations, but they also organize residence programs, designed to help students meet peers and build community connections.

The UNCG Housing & Residence Life staff is available 24 hours/7 days per week and can be reached at 336-334-5636.
