There appears to be come confusion as to the policy for scheduling work days for graduate assistants, specifically

with respect to when GAs are to begin their work assignment for the semester and when their assignment is

officially completed.  According to the Graduate School, GAs are to begin working the first day of classes.  Their

assignment officially ends the last day of exams.
