The Student Advising and Recruitment Center (SARC) is housed in room 324-A of the School of Education. Ms. Toni Knight is the director of SARC and Ms. Gaetane Jean-Marie is assistant director. This office serves as an information source for individuals requesting information on the School of Education's various graduate and undergraduate programs. SARC also provides advising services for undergraduate elementary and middle grades education majors. The purposes and rules of SARC are as follows:
1. to act as the first point of reference for inquiries to the School;
2. to create and maintain a comprehensive database of all graduate and undergraduate students enrolled in the School;
3. to process all Graduate School applications to the School;
4. to act as advising center for all undergraduate Freshman and Sophomore declaring education as their major;
5. to arrange special services for students as needed;
6. to create an alumni file for all departments within the School.
