1. If certification is automatically a part of the degree program to which the student has been formally admitted through the Graduate School, no further application through the Graduate School is necessary.
2. If the student applies for certification associated with a degree program at the same time he/she applies for a degree program and is accepted into the certification program, no further application through the Graduate School is necessary.
3. If the student decides after formal admission to the Graduate School that he/she wishes to add certification in any program, he/she must apply through the Graduate School for that certification program and must pay the application fee. This constitutes a second application.
4. Any appeal of these regulations should be directed to the Graduate School.
