The School of Education holds a diploma ceremony for May graduates each year.  If a student has no more than

6 semester hours of course work to complete in order to graduate in August but would like to participate in the

diploma ceremony in May, that student must obtain permission in writing from their department chair.  The student

must still apply to the Graduate School for August graduation and will receive their degree in August.
