Application for NC TEACH Undergraduate Program
UNCG offers Undergraduate Licensure-Only programs that lead to initial licensure in the six teaching areas. For a complete list, with required GPAs, go to the Undergraduate Admissions Web site.
Advising about Application
Mrs. Deb Ackerman, Teachers Academy Licensure Advisor, will provide information about the programs and individual advising. Candidates are encouraged to contact Mrs. Ackerman before completing their applications.

Application Process
Candidates must complete an Alternative Licensure Application.
- Download directions for completing the application.
- After reading directions for completing the application, download and print an application or pick up an application at The Teachers Academy. Download the NC Residency Questionaire for information concerning residency.
- Applicants must also submit official college university transcripts and three letters of recommendations.
